Beach

The natural beach ecosystem is one of the few remaining in the Catalan coast, as most of the developments have been built and rides for the enjoyment of tourists. The Muntanyans-Gorg is a privileged place in this regard, as it retains its natural values​​.
In the area closest to the sea we dunes, small mountains of sand, determined by the roots of plants adapted to dry conditions and with few nutrients. On the other hand, have brackish water ponds, a mixture of fresh water (aquifers and rain) and salt water (sea). Thus, we can find a diversity of flora and fauna adapted to these conditions in a few cases to be found in other media.
The beach sand is natural though, thanks to the preservation of the dunes and Posidonia, which act as a reservoir of sand.

The “Muntanyans-Gorg” is especially noted for its rich bird species being the 5th area of ​​natural interest in bird diversity.

Camping Clarà offers a magnificent natural sandy beach very flat ideal for children and protected with breakwaters that allow fishing and where you can practice all water sports, enjoying the good weather of the Costa Dorada.
Torredembarra beach of fine golden sand, and accompanied by a great Mediterranean climate makes it a beach of great qualities, awarded each year to the blue flag quality mark.
Here we can sunbathe and sea, relax, hiking and even observe the species of animals and plants that inhabit it.
